AI-Powered Creative Recommendation Deck

Description

Following a sudden Q2 budget cut driven by underperforming ROAS, we jumped into action with an AI-powered recommendation deck for the client. The goal wasn’t just to analyze results; it was to tell a stronger story, spark confidence, and reopen the door for Q3 and Q4 investment. Using a toolkit of AI platforms (ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and Canva AI), we fast-tracked creative analysis, spotlighted top-performing assets, pulled out sharp, actionable insights, and delivered forward-looking media recommendations. The result: a lean, impactful deck that balanced data with direction and showed the client we weren’t just reacting; we were already building the comeback. 

Data-Informed Insight Generation

Using DeepSeek and Perplexity, we analyzed creative-level performance data. Instead of manually sifting through creatives one by one, we fed performance data into AI systems that helped identify patterns and suggest which creatives were most effective and why. This allowed us to uncover deeper insights, such as correlations between creative elements (e.g., CTA placement, tone, or audience targeting). 

Streamlined Recommendations with ChatGPT

Visual Storytelling with Canva AI

ChatGPT was instrumental in transforming raw insights into structured, narrative-driven recommendations. By feeding it the performance summaries, we used it to draft audience-appropriate messaging, identify future creative opportunities, and provide specific tactical adjustments - such as shifting messaging tone or testing new formats for retargeting. 

Once the recommendations were finalized, we used Canva AI to adjust screenshots and improve the recommendation deck. It ensured our insights were not only accurate but also client-ready, engaging, and easy to digest. 

Conclusion

This initiative marked a meaningful evolution in how we approach creative reporting and optimization. Traditionally, building a recommendation deck would require manual reviews of every individual asset, deep dives into performance data, and time-intensive drafting. By introducing AI into our workflow, we dramatically reduced turnaround time while increasing the quality and depth of insights. 

More importantly, the resulting deck became a repeatable template for end-of-flight wrap-ups and future creative recommendation decks.  

With AI handling the first layers of data analysis and narrative building, our team can now focus more on strategic thinking. This new workflow not only enhances client communication but also enables faster campaign optimization throughout the year, maximizing performance potential at every turn.
