Description

This project focused on automating a multi-step reporting workflow involving the consolidation of data from multiple sources into structured, fully formatted Google Sheets. The objective was to streamline reporting while preserving layout structure, applying dynamic formulas, and meeting strict visual standards. 

AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor supported script development, formatting logic, and debugging. AI tools enabled faster iteration, reduced manual coding effort, and ensured consistency in styling. 

Workflow and Use Case 

The automation ingests raw input files, processes them using Python, and pushes the output into a pre-formatted Google Sheet using the Google Sheets API. The tool dynamically inserts rows, applies styling consistent with existing templates, and updates summary formulas. Built-in quality checks verify accuracy before final delivery. 

Results

  • Significantly reduced time spent on daily report formatting and uploads
